Bengaluru students shine bright at ‘The Grand AwardShow’

Bengaluru, September 24, 2018:  The Grand Awardshow, an online technology-based competition to unearth & recognize talented students, teachers and schools nationally which attracted a total participation of 3,000+ students from 150+ schools, culminated with a large number of Namma Bengaluru students and teachers bagging awards in different categories.

Two students from Presidency School NLO – Kushaal Rajiv and Praneel Patel, bagged top honours in students category, while Ms. Sonia Babu and Ms. Tamil SelviIlangovan from Presidency School NLO bagged top honours in the teachers category.  Further, in the schools’ category, Presidency School NLO and Presidency School – Bangalore South won at various levels.


The schools that participated in the Grand Awardshow from Bengaluru included Delhi Public School South, National Public School, Sri Aurobindo Memorial School, Venkat International Public School, Army Public School, PRTC, Inventure Academy amongst others.

The culmination of the competitions resulted in an award ceremony held at National Sports Club of India (NSCI), Worli, Mumbai which witnessed Chief Guest Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Hon’ble CM of Maharashtra, leading banker, singer, social activist & Women’s Excellence Awardee grace the occasion and disseminate awards/certificates to bright young students and teachers who took part in the competition and won it at various levels.

It may be noted that Whiz Juniors organises various online technology-based competitions for schools across India where the students and teachers can participate to enhance their knowledge and sharpen their aptitude in technology.

All the winners were felicitated with awards and certificates from the Chief Guest, Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis in the presence of other dignitaries like Mr. K. V. Vincent, Secretary & Treasurer, All India ICSE schools, Ms. Perin Bagli, State Secretary of ICSE Schools, Dr. Pallavi Darade, Maharashtra FDA Commissioner, Mr. Arpit Mittal, RSM of Paytm, Ms. Shaina NC, fashion designer, social worker and an MLA and others.
