Dots of Love tee-shirt campaign creates excitement at Samarthanam Trust this Valentines

16th February 2019, Bangalore: While everyone in the city was busy sharing love filled gifs and messages over phones and going out on dates this valentine, some people decided to do it in the true spirit of the day – sharing and caring and spreading joy and that to with not so privileged some.

Mysociolife is a Bangalore based startup with a mission to help Indian Non-Profit organisations raise funds for the various causes they support.Mysociolife designs unique cause-basedt-shirts which are sold online on Each T-shirt is designed especially for a cause attached to it and the sale proceeds from these T-shirts go to the charity.

One of the causes they support is to help visually impaired people and the company has associated itself with Samarthanam Trust, a nonprofit supporting education and livelihood needs of persons with disabilities and underprivileged people.

The 2 organizations celebrated this valentine’s day with the underprivileged blind students of the trust at one of their centres in the city by organizing a cake cutting and a braille writing competition.

They also launched “Dots of Love” T-shirts wherein dots of love is written in braille and English. This unique T-shirt would be sold online at and the proceeds from the same would be used to support the blind students at Samarthanam

Talking at the event, Samarthanam Trusts Managing Trustee, Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar who is visibly impaired himself, said “technology has made many things possible in today’s world. Mysociolife is using digital platforms in interesting and innovative ways to support the trusts cause. The unique tee shirt campaign initiated by them should attract a lot of support and we wish them all the luck with it.”

At Samarthanam blind students are also trained on a software which through audio instructions helps the attender in taking calls and addressing issues of a person calling. This enables these blind students to work in the BPO industry,”further shared Mahantesh.
