Wipro Consumer Care Enters South Africa – acquires Convey a leading Personal care company marketing iconic brand “Oh So Heavenly”

Bangalore, December 3, 2019 Wipro Consumer Care has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Canway Corporation a South African personal care Company. Company markets brands Oh So Heavenly work and IQ The transaction is subject to the approval of the Regulatory Authorities
Oh So Heavenly is an iconic personal care brand in Southern Africa, selling Exclusively through Clicks one of the leading Health and Beauty retailers in South Africa. Oh So Heavenly has been voted as the “Most Loved Brand” by Clicks shoppers for 8 out of 9 years since this award has been given thereby consistently beating leading global brands The Oh So Heavenly brand enjoys market leading position in multiple categories such as Bath & Shower Hand Cream, Fragrances Body Sprays, and Kids Products it is a leader in the gifting segment that constitutes a large portion of the South African personal care market. IQ has been
marketed for over a decade. The two brand, enriched with key organic African ingredients, was recently launched with considerable success The company has ts own manufacturing plant and R&D center in Durban.
