Veer Foundation sanitises 18,000 housing societies in its fight against Covid-19

 Keen to expand its sanitisation drive to Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad

Bengaluru, June 11, 2020: Veer Foundation, the Mumbai-based Foundation which till date has sanitised over 18,000 movable and immovable properties across Mumbai since the start of Covid-19 pandemic, is keen to expand its sanitisation drive to Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. The entire sanitation drive including chemical used is offered free of cost by Veer Foundation.

Even as unlocking is happening in a phased manner, citizens need to exercise caution and continue to take precautions to ensure they are not affected by Corona Virus. In its endeavour to contain Covid-19, Veer Foundation will continue sanitisation drive and also urged apartment complex, hospitals, ambulances, offices and public transportation vehicles to sanitise at regular intervals.

Commenting on its efforts in containing Covid-19, Mr. Nitin Sanghvi, Trustee, Veer Foundation, said, “We strive to contain the spread of Covid19 in Mumbai in specific and across India. In this endeavour, we had set out to help citizens of the country. Our fellow trustees and volunteers have been working tirelessly for the last two months driving awareness and ensuring sanitisation at regular interval”.

As you all are aware Senior Citizens, differently-abled and migrant workers have been badly affected by Covid-19. Veer Foundation has helped each section of the society by providing food for the last two months. Going forward, the Foundation would like to assist fellow citizens to fight Covid-19, so that we all can have safe life and resume normalcy very soon. Let’s work together to make India free from Covid-19, he added.
